Because I think I had a hand in highlighting Westwood’s corsets, it’s crucial now for me to talk about the other things that Westwood designed. Anyway, I’m also seeing exaggerated shoes, which I also love and which I think I’m partly responsible for as well, with the MJ Kikis and the Super Elevated Court Pumps from Westwood. Truth be told, I think the Y2K trend is here to stay, for as long as we have social media I think we’re all going to yearn for a certain type of nostalgia. Lastly, surrealism. Surrealism is bringing the joy of dressing back into our collective consciousness, and for that, we have Schiaparelli to thank.
